Flexibility from the ground up

Unilane is agnostic to communication media and protocols. The most popular options (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, etc.) are offered out-of-the-box and more are sold as add-ons. If none of them suits your needs, you can develop your own plugin using the C/C++, Python or Lua SDKs. Any number of plugins can be loaded inside an instance, they can be interconnected at will, and can be customized with any processing and routing logic. please keep scrolling for more information, or contact us for anything else.

Message-based systems account for a significant portion of Internet traffic. Financial transactions (both consumer and bank-to-bank) run through them; small devices collect and send all sorts of data from the real world to them: weather conditions, public utility consumption, security systems, and much more. Many of these systems are proprietary and specialized, while others run on infrastructure designed for the World Wide Web, such as standard web servers using text-based protocols which are often not optimal for performance and reliability in such situations. Unilane offers a common, stable and high-performance core upon which you can implement your messaging services without having to reinvent the wheel.

...

You have complete freedom to determine the internal structure upon which Unilane operates: it can be set up as a service bus, a pipeline, or asynchronous queues, or any combination of these. Each internal node can produce, consume, or both, encoded or decoded data according to its type. Internal output from a data producer can be fed to internal inputs at any number of data consumers. Asynchronous processing (and parallelism) can be easily introduced at any point by simply inserting a queue between the producer and the consumer(s) and assigning the desired number of threads to it.

There is a collection of plugins right at your fingertips for the most widely used requirements, as well as a menu of specialized ones that are sold as add-ons. You can still customize any behavior with the SDKs - from how messages are received, encoded, and decoded to processing and routing strategies.

...

The SDKs (separately sold) allow you to write your own new plugins, for any existing node type, with all the capabilities available to original plugins. You can add your own proprietary/specialized protocols, support legacy communication interfaces, implement business logic, access databases, and much more.

About Iapyx

In business since 1999, Iapyx specializes in EFT, IoT, and GIS software. In 2001, it became the first to release a mapping application with Brazilian city maps for PalmPilot PDAs. From 2000 to 2016 Iapyx developed and maintained the HostCore Suite for the Brazilian branch of Hypercom Corp. (acquired in 2011 by Verifone Inc.) - a software that, at its peak, processed over half a million transactions daily. Since 2003 VR BenefĂcios has used a cryptographic server developed and maintained by Iapyx that in 2024 validated and authenticated over 170 million EMV transactions.
